Toyota Logistic Design Competition 2022: (Deadline 19 October 2021)

Applications are open for Toyota Logistic Design Competition 2022. In the 2022 Toyota Logistic Design Competition asks you to get your head around the enormous issues involved in urban micro logistics. And suggesting ways of dealing with the rising problems. As well as improving expediency. The stumbling blocks it is up against when it comes to urban logistics are many and variegated. For one thing, cities are getting more and more congested, so cars are increasingly banned in city centres. This move is also a way of combatting pollution

This year’s theme is urban micrologistics. Think of ways of dealing with the ever-increasing sea of goods hitting our cities. The staggering number of deliveries needs new and better solutions. Integrating micrologistics with micromobility, is one way of looking at it.

Prizes

• First prize: €5,500
• Second prize: €3,300
• Third prize: €2,200

Additionally, all finalists will have the opportunity to apply for a six-month paid internship at the Toyota Material Handling Design Center – in Sweden and/or Italy. As well as at Toyota Motor European Design Centre, in France.

Eligibility

• The competition is open to university design students and recent graduates (2021), from all over the world.
• Only participants who belong to an undergraduate or graduate university programme are eligible to compete.
• Although the competition is focused on industrial design, product design and transportation design, students with a background in business, fashion, engineering, architecture etc. are also welcome to submit their work.
• Entries from individuals, as well as from teams of up to 3 are eligible.

While submitting, make sure the documents you are submitting are either PDF or JPG format and that they do not exceed the 30MB limit. Furthermore, do not name them with special characters (such as á,à,ä,ó). In case of a technical error, please report the problem to help@tldc.se.
