University of Bath 2025 Higher Education Scholarships for Palestinians (HESPAL): (Deadline Ongoing)
HESPAL aims to create the next generation of senior academics who can maintain international quality standards at Palestinian universities and develop renewed and sustainable links between Palestinian and UK universities. The scheme aims to upgrade academic staff in Palestinian universities through a Masters or PhD Scholarship programme.
The British Council Palestine and the University of Bath will jointly support up to three Master’s Scholarships per year.

The scholarship covers:
- arrival allowance
- thesis allowance
- a monthly stipend
Requirements for Higher Education Scholarships for Palestinians (HESPAL) Qualification
You must also:
- be a resident citizen of Occupied Palestinian Territories
- be currently employed by the Palestinian University which nominates you, which must be one of the participating Palestinian universities
- sign a written contract with your university declaring that you will return to Palestine and work in the university on completion of your degree
- have achieved a high second-class or first-class bachelor’s honours degree or international equivalent in your undergraduate study
