University of Kent International Scholarships for Postgraduate Students 2024: (Deadline 28 March, 2024)
The University of Kent welcomes international students from around the world and is pleased to be able to offer a number of scholarships for entry at taught master’s level.
These awards will be paid towards the cost of tuition fees and are offered to nationals of any country paying overseas fees.
There are two entry points for this scholarship. Applicants unable to submit an application or who were unsuccessful in Round 1 of scholarships are encouraged to submit again in Round 2.

Requirements for University of Kent International Scholarships Qualification
Applicants for this scholarship will need to demonstrate the following:
- Hold or be due to receive a UK First Class Honours degree or equivalent overseas qualification.
- Submitted a formal application to the University of Kent for a full time taught Master’s programme of study.
- Received a conditional or an unconditional offer for their programme from the University of Kent, due to start in September 2024.
- The University must have received confirmation of the applicant’s acceptance of their offer.
- and are offered to nationals of any country paying overseas fees.
Please note that this scholarship is only available to students assessed as overseas fee payers.
Applicants who have applied for distance learning programmes are not eligible.
Applicants who have applied for a Masters which includes an integrated pre-Masters are not eligible to apply.
Interview date, Process and Venue for University of Kent International Scholarships
- Scholarships will be shortlisted based on academic achievement to date. Final decisions will also take into consideration your full programme application including your personal statement and any references received.
- The final recruitment and selection panel(s) will take place in the week commencing 29 April 2024. Applicants will be notified of the final decision shortly thereafter. If successful, scholarship offer must be accepted within 2 weeks of award.
- The University of Kent reserves the right not to allocate the awards if the selection panel identifies no suitable candidates.
- The International Scholarship is subject to full University of Kent Scholarship Terms and Conditions, which will be provided to successful candidates at the point of award.

Interested and qualified? Go to University Of Kent on to applyApplications for the International Scholarship must be made via your applicant portal. Once logged in, click on the applications tab, and select your submitted application. Click on the funding button. You will then see a list of scholarships that you may be eligible to apply for. You will be able to apply for the International Scholarship once you have received an offer. Click on Apply and follow the steps to submit your application.
