Aim and Benefits of University of Sussex Graduate Scholarship

£3,000 scholarship is for 2023 Sussex graduates, with a First Class or Upper Second Class Bachelors degree, progressing to either a full time or part time eligible Masters at Sussex in September 2023.

Requirements for University of Sussex Graduate Scholarship Qualification

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

• Be graduating from Sussex in 2023 with a First Class or Upper Second Class Bachelors degree
• Have accepted an offer of a place on an eligible Masters, either part time or full time, to start in September 2023

You are not eligible for this scholarship if you:

• Are applying for a Masters at a university that is not at the University of Sussex
• Studied at a University of Sussex partner institution (such as BIMM)
• Are progressing into the final year of an integrated Masters at Sussex
• Already hold another University of Sussex scholarship (i.e Sussex India Scholarship)

You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study any of the following:

• Certificate and Diplomas (including PGCE)
• Corruption, Law and Governance LLM (delivered in Qatar)
• Courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS)
• Development Studies MA
• Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher status)
• Globalisation, Business and Development MA
• Governance, Development and Public Policy MA
• Power, Participation and Social Change MA
• Poverty and Development MA
• Masters degrees in Social work (if receiving an NHS bursary)
• Masters funded by the research councils (e.g. ESRC 1+3 funding)
• Online courses
• Schools direct teaching courses

Interview date, Process and Venue for University of Sussex Graduate Scholarship

Scholarship recipients will see confirmation of the scholarship when they register for their Masters online. For international recipients that require a visa to study in the UK, the scholarship amount will be included in the CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Study).

Eligible applicants need to register interest in this scholarship through the postgraduate application system when you accept an offer of a place to study. No confirmation will be sent, as the scholarship is awarded automatically to all eligible applicants that register for the scholarship on time.
