Purpose of the Internship
- To foster interaction and dialogue among young scholars, professionals, and UNU.
- To introduce junior fellows to the activities of the Office of the Rector and the work of UNU.
- To offer young professionals opportunities for in-depth, practical experience within a UN agency.
- To expose young professionals to an administrative work environment.
- To provide support for activities within the Office of the Rector.
Eligibility Criteria

- The Internship is open to all Nationals.
- Pursuing or completing postgraduate studies (Master’s/Doctoral) in a relevant field.
- Under 32 years old at application.
- Maximum 5 years of related work experience.
- Native/fluent English (written & spoken).
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse people.
- Resourceful and creative problem-solver.
- Advanced computer skills (MS Office proficiency, Excel preferred).
- Interest in the UN and UNU’s work.
