This is a Fully funded exchange program in the USA open to participants aged 18 to 35 years from all around the world. UPG Program includes 1 week fully funded trip to the United States.
The aim of the UPG is to support positive citizen leadership skills in the area of sustainability. It is a movement that encourages all other citizens to take positive action in their communities. UPG will select 500 Participants for the online training. 60 Participants will be chosen from the online training for the 1-week full trip to Hurricane Island, United States. UPG Focus Areas
UPG believes that sustainability includes BOTH the usual “green” issues such as planting trees, recycling waste, managing energy, and protecting the oceans AND other issues that have been central to our societies for a long time such as education, health, jobs, gender equality, sustainable consumption, sustainable production and more.
For those who are familiar with it, UPG uses the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a guide.

- 60 Participants will be selected for the one-week trip to the USA where they will continue learning at the Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership.

Eligibility Criteria
- The age of the participant should be 18-35 years old.
- Candidate must be motivated and creative thinkers
- Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to submit an application.
- Both male and female participants can apply.
- All applicants must have a strong command of the English language.
UPG Application Requirements
You need to upload these in your online application:
- A picture of you.
- Submit a maximum 2-minute video of yourself answering the question in the application form or talking about yourself to prove your English proficiency.
- Submit the video by attaching a link to it in the application
