One of the best summer schools for international students in Austria, the VBC Summer School 2026 is now accepting applications. VBC stands for the Vienna BioCenter and offers a nine-week summer research program for Bachelor’s and Master’s students from all around the world. The Vienna BioCenter is one of Europe’s leading research centers. The summer school duration is two months, running from July 1st to August 31st, 2026. Research Areas

Eligibility Criteria

The Summer School is open to all the Nationals.
Open to undergraduate and master’s students.
Pursuing a BA Hons, Master’s, or MSc degree.
Completed at least 2 years of a Bachelor’s degree or 1 year of a Master’s degree.
Major in a Life Sciences field (e.g., Molecular and Cell Biology, Chemistry).
Good academic record.
