Vocational Training at CSIR-CBRI: (Deadline 20 July, 2025)
CSIR-Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), Roorkee offers short-term Internships / Industrial Training / Research Work / Dissertation Programs to students as part of the partial fulfillment of their academic degree requirements. This opportunity is aimed at candidates with strong academic performance and a keen interest in R&D work aligned with the institute’s core areas.
Who Can Apply?
Students currently pursuing the following courses are eligible:

Three-Year Diploma
-
B.Tech. / B.E. / B.Arch. (3rd/4th year, 4th semester onwards)

M.Sc. / MCA
-
M.Tech. / M.E. / M.Arch. / MURP
Eligibility Criteria:
Preference will be given to students who have secured a minimum 7.0 CGPA or 70% marks.

Fee Structure

Diploma Students: ₹500 (one-time)

All Other Courses: ₹1,000 (one-time)

Note: Hostel accommodation (subject to availability) and electricity charges will be levied separately as per institute norms.
Accommodation Facilities
Limited hostel accommodation is available for both boys and girls on a sharing and chargeable basis (First Come, First Serve).
Facilities include:

A single bed (without mattress, pillow, bedsheets)

A table and chair
Charges:

Hostel: ₹500/month (approx.)

One-time furnishing charge: ₹1,000

Mess Facility: ₹150/day (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
How to Apply?

Online Registration: Interested candidates must register online and mention their preferred area of interest.

Institute Letter: Upload a scanned copy of a letter from your institution stating that the training is a mandatory part of your curriculum.

Selection Notification: Selected candidates will be notified via email.

Fee Payment: Training fees must be paid at the time of registration at CSIR-CBRI.

Travel Arrangements: Students must arrange their own travel.
