Water Supply Systems of 6.3km in Nteko cell, Mugina Sector, Kamonyi District: (Deadline: 22 February 2021)
TENDER NOTICE AND BACKGROUND
In 2007 was created a Rwandese Endogenous Development Association (ARDE/KUBAHO) to contribute to the welfare of the most vulnerable Rwandan population. To ensure the objective is achieved, strategic directions were chosen where “WASH” is one of them.
Since early 2016, ARDE/KUBAHO started working with Germany International NGO: Sign of Hope (Hoffnungszeichen) and months later with Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) for increasing access to clean water and sanitation and hygiene practices in Sheli cell, Kamonyi district.
For the same purpose, the partnership wants to extend the activities in other neighboring suffering sectors of Kamonyi district, especially in 3 villages of Nteko cell for Mugina sector by increasing access to clean water and sanitation and promoting practices on hygiene through the Project: “Expansion of access to drinking water and integrated promotion of sanitation and positive hygiene behavior in rural Rwanda”.
OBJECTIVE
The main objective to provide quotation on gravity water supply systems of 6.3km in Nteko cell, Mugina Sector, Kamonyi district.
TIMELINE AND DELIVERIBLES
The successful bidders will work under guidance of ARDE/KUBAHO and partners: Sign of Hope and district of Kamonyi. The project is for one year starting from January 2021.

Bid Submission on 22/02/2021 @5:00PM Rwandan.
Contract signature 26/02/2021
End of the contract January 2022
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
The companies is expected to operate in Rwanda preferable in water projects with a minimum eight (8) years’ experience in the field.
To be registered in Rwanda development board (RDB), RPPA, tax clearance certificate and VAT certificates from RRA, clearance from RSSB.
To provide CVs, degrees for Required Staff, equipment, required references, and other qualification requirement as per bid data sheet ITB 5.5.
SUBMISSION
Closing date for submission of bids is on 22nd February 2021 @ 5:00PM, Rwanda time. The soft documents will be sent via email: info@arde-kubahorwanda.org. The only selected candidate will be contacted for the contract signature.
