Wipro Education Fellowship Program 2025 (Stipend available) Deadline: 7 July, 2025

Applications are open for the Wipro Education Fellowship Program 2025. The Wipro Education Fellowship Program has been designed to contribute to the systemic improvement of Indian school education. It does this by supporting early-stage CSOs focused on school education. Given the size, diversity and complexity of the country of India, they believe that there is a need for a large and vibrant ecosystem of educational organizations, to make an impact on the school education system.

The Fellowship Program was launched in 2015-2016. Its objective is to support the creation and development of a significant number of new educational organizations. They hope that these can then contribute meaningfully, and in a sustained manner, to the Indian school education system.

The program selects and partners with committed and capable individuals and teams, who share their vision of quality education being made available to every Indian child. They provide a three-year Fellowship to founding team members. This aims to help them set up effective educational organizations in domains and geographies of their choice. 

Financial Support

• The financial support would be provided for up to three (3) years from the date of signing the MoU. It would amount to approximately Rs 4.8 lakhs per year. This will be paid in the form of quarterly stipends. 

Eligibility

• The organization must be in early-stages (6 months to 3 years, preferably), and working to strengthen the public education system, or have concrete plans to engage with the public education system.
• Are preferably working in the domains of Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), Education for Children with Disabilities, Inclusive Education, Nature/Sustainability Education, Computational Thinking/ Computer Science Education.
• The organization should be preferably working in non-metro, rural geographies.
• Fellowships are offered only to founding team members working full-time with the organization.
• Fellows must have a long-term commitment to working in the specified domain and geography.
• Fellows must demonstrate a willingness to engage in educational and organizational capacity building through the fellowship period.
