WVA and MSD Animal Health 2022 Scholarship has been launched for veterinary students from four world regions (Latin America, Africa, North Africa/Middle East, and Asia/Oceania) to enhance their academic experience.
About World Veterinary Association (WVA)
Hundred-fifty years ago, in 1863, Dr J. Gamgee convened a first International Veterinary Congress. This initiative grew into the World Veterinary Association (WVA) today. The WVA unites and represents the global veterinary profession. It is the umbrella organization for National Veterinary Associations and International associations of veterinarians working in different areas of veterinary medicine. The WVA continues the ambition of Dr Gamgee to bring veterinarians from all over the world together, to share experiences, to exchange ideas and to join forces for the promotion and development.

Requirements for WVA/MSD Animal Health Veterinary Student Scholarship Program Qualification
- Not a recipient of any previous MSD Animal Health/WVA scholarship.
- Citizen of one of the countries under the grant coverage: Latin America, Africa, North Africa/Middle East and Asia/Oceania.
- Currently registered for the academic year 2022-2023 at a recognized school of veterinary medicine in the country.
- Have completed all first-year exams.
- Registered in the second – or third-year year of the program (or equivalent if the program is longer than 4 years).
- First and last year students are not eligible candidates for this scholarship program.
