YPS Consultations for Big Impact – Funding Opportunity for Youth-Led Peacebuilding Organizations

The YPS Consultations for Big Impact initiative is now accepting proposals from youth-led organizations across selected countries. This unique opportunity seeks to promote inclusive and meaningful youth engagement by supporting structured consultations led by youth organizations themselves. Through this initiative, young people will be empowered to act as key contributors to national and global peacebuilding processes and policy-shaping mechanisms.

This open call invites eligible organizations with a track record in Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) to apply for funding to lead consultations that strengthen youth leadership, participation, and agency within peace and governance agendas.

About the YPS Consultations for Big Impact Project

The YPS Consultations for Big Impact builds upon the groundwork laid by the first YPS Progress Study: The Missing Peace, which was mandated by the United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 2250 and conducted from 2016 to 2018.

This earlier study showcased the significance of youth-led consultations and research in advancing the global YPS agenda. The new project continues this legacy by:

• Amplifying the voices of young people in peacebuilding.
• Strengthening youth leadership in national and international governance frameworks.
• Ensuring youth are recognized as rights holders and contributors to policy dialogue.

Eligible Countries

Applications are welcome from organizations based in the following countries:

  • Syria
  • Tunisia
  • Turkmenistan

Who Should Apply?

Youth-led organizations interested in applying must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Demonstrated track record on Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) issues.
• Clear ambition and motivation to advance the YPS agenda locally, nationally, and internationally.
• Capacity to convene and facilitate inclusive, participatory consultations with a diverse range of youth organizations.
• Commitment to working collaboratively and inclusively.

Application and Submission Details

Applicants must complete and submit their application as follows:

• Complete the application form in Word format.
• Submit the form via email to info@cspps.org.
• Applications may be written and submitted in English, French, or Spanish.
