Position: BPN Business Coach
Duty Station: BPN Rwanda, Kacyiru
Reports to: Operations Director Rwanda
Job Summary: The BPN Business Coach accompanies Entrepreneurs on their growth Journey.
The journey starts with thoroughly understanding the actual status of the Business and helping the entrepreneur prepare a Five years strategic Expansion plan. It continues with mentoring the entrepreneur during the implementation of his Expansion plan.
We are looking for a charismatic, strong personality with people Management experience, who is familiar with doing business in Rwanda and who has the ability to assess entrepreneurs’ potential of growth while exercising a serving attitude.
Main responsibilities
- Identifying, recruiting and selecting potential SMEs for the program.
- Working closely with BPN Entrepreneurs mainly in the manufacturing, processing, production, service industry, etc.
- Introducing Business Principles to Entrepreneurs using BPN’s Business Academy material
- Helping BPN Entrepreneurs convert their ideas into executable Business cases
- Being a mentor on strategy, finance, marketing, sales, personal development, and others.
- Running Business Plan and Bookkeeping workshops
- Offering additional Workshops on demand
- Doing Publication on topics related to entrepreneurship
- General administration tasks as assigned
Your profile
Education
- A University degree or an equivalent of a four-year college certificate with a major in Economics, Finance, and Management. Fluent in English and Kinyarwanda (excellent writing and oral skills)
- Additional language skills would be a plus.
Professional Experience skills
- Two-three years of related experience working with Entrepreneurs.

- Experience in Managing a Business or business coaching
- International exposure: at least 2 years studying or working in a country other than
Rwanda or 2 years of working with an international organization. - Skilled in performing the technical SME Advisory work including a selection of potential entrepreneurs, training and coaching.
- Usage of modern Business communication tools including letter styles and formats, memoranda, minutes, and reports in a professional manner.
- Ability to interact with clients and partners with a positive attitude
- Good knowledge of Rwanda

Position: BPN Communications officer
Duty Station: BPN Rwanda, Kacyiru
Reports to: Operations Director Rwanda
Job Summary: We are looking to hire a dedicated Communications Officer to join our team. The Communications Officer will support our internal and external communications strategy, write and disseminate publicity materials, represent the company through building a social media presence for the organization by responding to inquiries, comments from the public and media, and coordinate promotional events.
The position
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience.
- Build brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers.
- Formulate and distribute high-quality written and visual content through publications channels like the website, flyers, newsletters, bulletins, brochures and other marketing material that communicates the organization’s activities, products and/or services
- Update the organization’s promotional materials using up-to-date softwares
- Update and respond to media inquiries on the organization’s social media platforms including but not limited to the website, Facebook, twitter among others.
- Managing the organization’s online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.
Training Coordinator
- Prepare, market and coordinate existing BPN Trainings according to the yearly calendar and procedures in place.
- Work with Trainers to design and prepare training materials
- Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
Your profile
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field
- Fluent in English and Kinyarwanda (excellent writing and oral skills)
- Additional language skills would be a plus.
Professional Experience skills
- Minimum of 2 – 5 years’ relevant experience in a communications role
- Experience in graphic design, branding, and Marketing
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in Social Media Marketing and branding
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- International exposure: at least 2 years studying or working in a country other than
Rwanda or 2 years of working with an international organization. - Usage of modern communication tools.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
- Ability to use different graphic design tools
- Ability to train staff on the basics of communication
- Ability to interact with clients and partners with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn
- Good knowledge of Rwanda
