2 Job Positions of Green House Gas Inventory Officer at RWANDA ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY (REMA): (Deadline 13 December 2021)

Job description

– Regularly coordinate the Green House Gases (GHG) Inventory and feed GHG inventory data management system;
– Participate in the preparation of GHG inventory chapters for National Communication and Biennial Update Reports;
– Manage daily the data bank related to GHG inventory;
– Prepare annual reports on the status of GHG emissions in Rwanda;
– Participate in the capacity building of national stakeholders on methodologies for GHG inventories;
– Facilitate the development of national framework for GHG inventory;
– Support/Facilitate activities related to the improvement of the quality and quantity of activity data and emission factors;
– up the publication of IPCC working group I: Science of Climate change and prepare a technical note on the implication of the findings on the country economic
development Regular update all information related to GHG information on climate change Portal;

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Meteology

    Experience: 0

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics

    Experience: 0

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences

    Experience: 0

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geography

    Experience: 0

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Production

    Experience: 0

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

    Experience: 0

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry,

    Experience: 0

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agrometeorology

    Experience: 0

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physics

    Experience: 0

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Atmospheric Science

    Experience: 0

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Crop Production

  • Bachelor degree in Environmental Chemistry
