2 Job Positions of Mycology Senior Officer Under Statute at RWANDA BIO MEDICAL CENTER(RBC): (Deadline 30 January 2023)
Job description
Prepare quarterly and annual reports
– Validate test results and implement Lab Quality Control programs
– Supervise and train lab personnel on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and
Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs)
– Take periodic inventory of reagent stocks and lab consumables for the Lab section
– Follow-up on scheduled equipment maintenance, service and repairs
– Participate in biomedical research studies
– Participate in EQA program
– Prepare reagent and media for fungi and yeasts identification
– Prepare or maintain stock of reference fungi and yeast colonies for quality control
– In collaboration with EID Division, make a field investigation for sample collection and outbreak confirmation during an outbreak suspension
– Participates in Mycology related research in collaboration with other institutions
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology
0 Year of relevant experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology
0 Year of relevant experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences
0 Year of relevant experience

Ability to work Mycology area and be familiar with different equipment

Knowledge in all aspects of medical, veterinary and environmental mycology
