Job Level & Seniority: Senior Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, mission-driven product leader to take on the role of Senior Product Manager, Service Solutions.

Our service solutions are powered by our service management platform which offers a suite of platforms and tools to serve the service industry: a low-code no-code platform to easily digitize forms and workflows, digital marketplaces (IremboGovIremboPlus) allowing users to access services, an agent portal allowing our network of agents to apply on behalf of users, and an officer portal allowing service providers to process applications and access analytics.

As the Senior Product Manager of our service solutions, you will play a pivotal role in our company’s growth. Your mission is twofold: to own the discovery and delivery of innovative platform features that enable new business capabilities, and to own the service design and success for all services built on top of our platform. Acting as a digital transformation expert, you’ll leverage your creativity and problem-solving skills to help clients efficiently scale their services on our marketplaces. You will be accountable for a service’s performance once it’s live, ensuring it’s not just digitized, but is also intuitive for consumers and unlocks real efficiency for service providers. This is a critical role for a pragmatic product leader who can balance the long-term needs of a scalable platform with the short-term demands of rapid business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Discovery: You will lead a continuous discovery process to identify the most critical pain points and opportunities for service providers, service consumers, agents, and technical teams digitizing services with our low-code, no-code tool. This involves partnering with the user research function, analyzing user behaviour data, and synthesizing market trends to inform the product roadmap.
  • Product Roadmap Definition & Delivery: You are responsible for defining and managing a clear, actionable product roadmap. You will lead a cross-functional team (product management, user research, engineering, design, marketing, operations) in the delivery of roadmap features, ensuring they are built to a high standard and deliver expected outcomes.
  • Service Design & Innovation: You will lead a team of product managers and business analysts who act as “forward-deployed” product experts. They will use the capabilities of the service management platform to design digital services that are easy to use for citizens and efficient to operate for service providers. You will inspire and guide the team to consistently innovate on service design and invent on behalf of our clients.
  • Service Performance: You are accountable for the outcomes of the services that are live on the platform. This means you own metrics related to ease of use, users’ queries and complaints, and the operational efficiency of service providers and agents.
  • Team Building & Development: A core responsibility is to lead and grow a high-performing team of product managers and business analysts.

Qualifications:

You are an accomplished individual product manager (a “doer”) with great product sense, excellent execution, and the ability to lead teams.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role. Experience shipping products or features that created business impact is a MUST.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking: You must be skilled at synthesizing complex information from diverse sources, identifying the root cause of problems, and developing innovative, elegant, and user-centric solutions. This is a foundational skill for navigating the ambiguous challenges of a scaling platform.
  • Technical acumen and platform experience: You must have a strong engineering background and a proven track record of building products. Experience in platform products will be highly valued.
  • Communication Skills: You must be a superb and persuasive communicator, capable of articulating complex ideas through compelling writing, inspiring presentations, or in-person conversations.
  • Cross-functional leadership: You must be skilled at influencing and leading cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business teams. This requires a strong ability to influence and drive execution without direct authority.
  • Data-driven decision-making: You must have a strong analytical skill set, with a history of defining and tracking key product metrics and using data to measure success, identify opportunities, and inform your roadmap.
  • Leadership & people management: Experience managing high-performing product teams. Able to lead through context, coach for excellence, and create a culture of accountability.

What We Offer:

  • A Strategic Seat at the Table: You will own the roadmap of our service management platform and shape how it evolves and grows to better serve our clients and users. This is a leadership role with real influence on the company’s future.
  • Room to Build: We are growing fast and building deliberately. You will have the autonomy to define direction, structure teams, and raise the standard for which products or features we build.
  • Mission Driven Work: Our work sits at the intersection of public service, technology, and enterprise. What you build will help citizens at the national scale access and consume essential services.
  • Competitive Terms: We offer a compensation package that reflects the importance of the role, with room for growth based on performance and impact.
