Sales and Regional Analytics Manager at MTN Rwanda: (Deadline 9 April 2023)
To generate, mine, and manage sales performance data to provide specialist support to the Sales and Distribution department with relevant, analyzed sales performance insights and indicators for the management of sales channels and regions and enable data-driven sales decisions to improve performance.

Responsibilities
- Generate, Collect, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of Sales performance-related data, insights, and analytics to drive sales performance.
- Provide insights for the Sales and Regional Teams on key sales and strategic performance drivers.
- Develop and regularly update sales performance dashboards and charts for the different regions, districts, and sectors.
- Provide and maintain a strong and reliable sales channel and regional insights database to facilitate hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly performance tracking.
- Provide Sales support, analytics, and insights to Regional Managers
- Provide Sales performance analysis and tracking for all sales channels (Franchisees, Service centers, Connect Shops, Kiosks, Sim Registration and SIM Swap Agents, Agents,
- Evaluate device performances across all sales channels and regions.
- Drive an increased focus on analytics and provide valuable insights to drive sales performance improvement opportunities.
- Build an understanding of critical business and operational performance metrics required to improve Sales and Regional performance.
- Ability to use multiple data sources as well as data modeling to develop valuable insights to improve Sales and Regional performance.
- Monitor sales channel, regional, district, and sector-level market dynamics and competitor activities and recommend appropriate actions.
- Monitor sales performance metrics against the business plan and explain the variances.
- Develop analytical models to guide management decisions and business direction.
- Data Mining, Data Analytics and Sales channel segmentation, and performance management for Sales & Distribution and Regions.
- Data and performance analysis of Non-Financial KPIs related to Sales channel and Regional activities against KPIs.
- Hourly, Daily, Weekly, and Monthly analysis of all Sales Channels, Agents, Merchants, Freelancers, Channel and Regions, Districts, and Sectors against KPIs
- Preparation and presentation of Business cases defending Capital requirements for new Network coverage investment and Site payback.
- Drive the cultural change required to ensure BI is used optimally to make fast and effective decisions in the Sales and Distribution department.
- Work closely with Fintech, CBU, EBU, and Technology to drive continuous performance improvements in sales per
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business IT, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics
- 3 – 7 years experience in data analytics
- Post-graduate degree in a similar or related field is an advantage.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Financial acumen i.e., modeling analysis, projections, forecasting
- Experience in writing SQL queries (MS SQL and Presto Big Data) and visualization tools (Power BI and Tableau).
- Previous experience in a telecommunications industry
- Telecom experience would be an added advantage.
