EMIS and Education Statistics Specialist at Ministry Of Education (MINEDUC): (Deadline 26 January 2024)

1. To Design data collection tools, design data management tools (database and others) and design data analysis tools 2. To create a system that facilitate effective collection and correction of data 3. To collect the data and evidence for elaboration of sector policies, strategies, and plans. 4. To analyze, interpret data and categorize sex disaggregated data at all levels 5. To discuss the relevance of tools and data with both NISR and Ministry senior officers in line with development programs. 6. To interpret data and draw clear recommendations to senior management for decision making purposes 7. To provide an essential framework to be used in the collection, preparation, recording and use of statistics 8. To consider and ensure decentralization principles in data collection and analysis 9. To put in place appropriate mechanisms to capture record, process and publication of Ministry Data 10. To avail relevant, accurate, quality, and timely data for the Ministry; 11. To make review and up to date data for the Ministry 12. To Provide Technical advice to the Ministry and stakeholders in area of education statistics 13. To provide the needed information during the planning and budgeting process. 14. To work closely with the respective organs for the publication and dissemination of data produced by MINEDUC. 15. To liaise with National Institute of Statistics and Ministry technical departments to make inventory of existing data and identify gaps or variances 16. To propose appropriate data exchange mechanism and dissemination strategy. 17. To provide report to the Director General of Education Sector Planning & M&E
