As part of the expansion strategy we are looking for interested, qualified and competent candidates to fill the following position:
1. Job Title: Management trainee
2. Reports to: Director Global Sales
3. Job Purpose
The management trainee program is to enrol and attract a talented and proactive Management trainee will actively working as vibrant young managers/supervisors and outstanding officers in Commercial services, and perform delegated managerial responsibilities with an objective of earning a promotion to Country Managers, Managers, Supervisors and officers.
Management Trainee will be exposed to all aspects of commercial activities, (…. ) and be given opportunities to make substantive contributions.
4. Accountability
Responsible for specific operational and functional responsibilities and projects as assigned and the successful execution thereof;
Direct responsibility for monitoring, analyzing and providing regular qualitative and quantitative performance reports and updates on current operations and clients to relevant Company executives and managers;
Direct responsibility for proactively proposing business development initiatives to relevant Company executives and management;
Direct responsibility for developing and maintaining business development processes, tools and databases and maintaining all business development and marketing presentations and materials.
5. Terms of references
The applicant should have at least 5years working experience and have been in key Management roles for at least three years in commercial or Marketing;
Must demonstrate knowledge in Management of key commercial accounts;
Must demonstrate project management skills;
Must have quantitative skills and capable of analysing and interpreting sales data;
Must be fluent in English and French is an added advantage;
Must be strengths in financial modelling and analysis, Sales evaluation, market/industry research and competitive analysis;
Must interpret quantitative and qualitative information with a realistic of commercial trend and present the recommendations;
Must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Applied statistic, Mathematics , Economics, Business Management /administration or any other relevant field;
Reliability, self-motivation, attention to detail;
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access, strong research, presentation development and delivery skills.
