Logistics Officer at RWANDA FORESTRY AUTHORITY: (Deadline 12 July 2022)

Job description

1. Act on instructions to implement logistics support operations;
2. Conduct annual planning of physical transport needs;
3. Ensure accurate tracking of all transport resources by using existing tools and or developing new ones, and using
the said tools to proactively meet current and future challenges;
4. Coordinate the movement of vehicles and transport staff to meet institutional needs;
5 .Control fuel consumption by using appropriate tracking tools ;
6. Transport contract management ;
7. Organise the maintenance and repair of RFA assets;
8. Ensure that all assets of RFA are in good conditions and secured ( including Furniture and office equipment);
9. Supervise the maintenance works, rehabilitations of RFA buildings and assets by Companies that won those tenders ;
10. Supervise the implementation of the contracts of security services and cleaning services;
11. Ensure good utilization of the RFA parking yard;
12. Follow up and ensure that hygiene is maintained in RFA buildings;
13. Follow up and ensure the good status of generator and water facilities, ensure that keys to all RFA facilities
and offices are kept and maintained in safe and good order;
14. Coordinating the booking of conference and meeting rooms at RFA building;
15. Identifying problem areas of RF Abuilding and inform concerned officers for action.
This may include replacement of lights, maintenance and repair of washrooms and generator; Alert the security personnel and Management of any unusual event happening in RFA premises;
Maintain the RFA asset Register.
